We arrived around 8pm, just in time to find a place to eat as it was Sunday and most things close early. Our Airbnb was just outside Cork. It was in the countryside in a very quite area. The place was beautiful. Next day we got up at a good time and headed to Blarney Stone Castle. It is said that if you kiss the stone you become a very eloquent person. So we had to give it a try. The grounds are very nice. The building is impressive. They also have a poison garden. Most of the plants were dying, but it is autumn so no surprise there. We walked in the grounds and then headed to downtown. We found a nice place to eat although it turned out to be a little posh and expensive.
