Dublin, Ireland

Maya, Gary and I left early on Friday to Dublin. We got there around 10pm. We first took a bus downtown and left our bags in a "locker" so we could walk around town without carrying suitcases and bag packs. We then walked towards Stephens Garden. We did a lot of window-shoping on the way there so by the time we reached it, we had to walk back to the bus stop to meet Jack who had taken a bus from Dundalk.
We visited Trinity College and Library, a beautiful building and they have made an exhibition that tells you the story of the Books of Kells. After our tour we went to Stephens Garden (finally). It is a beautiful park. We had dinner and then headed for the bags and to the Airbnb.
The next day we went to Dublinia, a museum in which they show you how things were in medieval times, very thematical. It was fun and entertaining. After that tour we went to have a nice cup of tea to then walk towards the Guinness Storehouse. It is a very impressive building. We got the full tour and a free pint (unfortunately none of us like beer, so that was a waist). We finished the day going for a nice Asian meal to celebrate our birthdays.
On Sunday, we went to find a nice place for breakfast and then just wondered on the streets till 1 as we needed to head to the airport for Maya to catch a flight back to Amsterdam and us hire a car to go to Cork.
