Maya's Graduation
The finally arrived and Jack was able to join us to celebrate. Jack arrived on Thursday and Speech day was Friday morning. Due to the last minute arrival, Jack was only able to wear the kilt. Maya was ready with her beautiful short dress and she had prepared her speech as she was voted by her class to be the voice. The ceremony was very nice although the outside speaker was, for lack of a better word, pathetic. She was boring, long and it felt like a geography class, finalizing with a marketing campaign. Thankfully, Maya and Julia saved the day with two beautiful speeches.
After the ceremony, I had to rush out to get Jack a suit, shirt, belt and shoes. We were back just in time to get my hair done and ready to leave to the party. We were seated with Johan's family and had a blast at the party. We left at 5am (not even at my own grad did I left at this time). Congratulations Maya!!!
