Sundre - Rafting Day 4
We had to get up early to drive tu Sundre, which is an hour and a half from Calgary. We needed to be there at 10:30am for the Rafting. We had breakfast and off we went. There was a point in the trip where I thought we had taken a wrong turn or I had placed the address wrong as it was dirt road and no cell phone signal for kilometres. We finally arrived and it turned out to be a place that the owner is starting to do something with it. He is a professional open water kayak instructor, but he got this place to do rafting as well. We were the only ones that day so we were treated really nicely. The guide was in training but the owner was with him all the time. The river was very nice and had some great white waters. After the Rafting we had a really nice burger with salad and wedges. The owner made them. We then headed back to Sundre where we spent the night at the Schott's Lake Conference Resort. (Sorry there are no Rafting pictures or videos, but we were not allowed to take any phones with us).
