Winter Park 2023
Just like every year we try to make it to Winter Park. This year no exception. We met Jack there. The first two days we spend them in Denver and met Johnny. It is always nice to see him, but hard to think that it has been over 25 years since Gary met him. The next day we were in Winter Park ready to hit the slopes. The first day was amazing. It was cold but manageable. The next 4 days, it was sunny (horrible) as it got slushy by noon. To the point that we finished the days early. The last day got cloudy, so there was a better chance of a good ride. Jack since he arrived had a terrible gastroenteritis, so the first day we could not snowboard. The last day, the boots had caused a blister on his little tow and it hurt to try and go toe side on the board. So two days he was unable to ride. But it was lovely to spend time with him.
