Winter Park
So after 3 long years of wait, we finally made it to Winter Park again.It is such a blur these past two years that we were shocked to see that Jack and Maya only used their snow gear only once!! We had to buy new stuff for them as nothing fitted them. We were lucky to have Jack meeting us at Denver and spending the whole week with us. We had great weather and snow the first day and then we got about 50cm of snow during the week. The weather, was cold most of the time. We had days of -13C and winds that made it difficult to go downhill. Gary was unfortunate to get really sick one day. He had bangers and mash at Rubbi's Irish Pub, and got food poisoned. Never again will we go back there.
So after 10 days of fun, we all went back home. Jack unfortunately got his flight from Denver to Chicago delayed 3 hours, which made him miss his connection flight to Dublin. So he had to spend a day in Chicago to be able to catch the next direct flight.
